For those of you who want to root your Toshiba Thrive Android tablet, guys over at ThriveForums.org have a one-click root method for Windows.

To root your Toshiba Thrive, download thriveroot.zip and unzip to your hard drive: Download thriveroot.zip Install the drivers in the usb adb drivers folder inside the thriveroot folder.

Then simply run the thrive_easy_flash_tool.bat file, choose “Root your device”.

Here’s how to root the LG G-Slate in Linux:

1. Download lggslateroot.zip and unzip. Download lggslateroot.zip
